SIDE secondary Art supports a large and diverse group of students including:

- full time students unable to attend a conventional school due

to geographical isolation

- WA students travelling Australia or the world, on a long

term basis, with their parents

- WA students whose local high school does not offer the
subjects they wish to study, or where the timetable does
not allow them to join the class

- students suffering from long term illnesses

 - part time adults undertaking courses to improve their education and employment options.

 SIDE art students receive a comprehensive set of lesson and kit materials to complete their course. Year 11 and 12 students are also supported by an on-line support course which provides opportunities to view other student's developing work and interact with teachers and 'classmates' in real-time.

Art students are welcome to work with their teachers at SIDE anytime by appointment.

 All SIDE art students have access to a comprehensive range of support services.
