To apply for enrolment the following must be completed and sent to SIDE.
The forms are available for download in .pdf format and will be accepted for enrolment.

  • downloading the relevant forms (above) and sending these to SIDE or
  • contacting SIDE for an Enrolment Pack.

Note:

  • Payment may be in the form of Cheque or Money Order, payable to the Schools of Isolated and Distance Education.
  • Credit Card facilities are available and details are included on the Voluntary Contribution and Charges 2008 form.
  • SIDE’s receipt of the Application for Enrolment does not necessarily ensure enrolment.
  • Once enrolment has been confirmed, check the booklist requirements.

icon Referral Program

The Referral Program at SIDE provides for students from Years K-12 who have special needs and who are unable to attend a regular school.  Enrolment in the Referral Program is not considered to be a long term alternative to a regular school.  Enrolments are reviewed regularly to determine eligibility.
The Referral Program is coordinated by SIDE’s School Psychologists and is designed to provide support for students who are unable to attend a regular school due to:

  • severe medical/chronic health problems
  • severe mental health issues
  • a pregnancy or parenting responsibilities.
